I want to continue with me theme of Horror, so I decided on choosing to change "Ju-On the Grudge". This movie series is about two ghosts who suffered a horrible life and have now become poltergeists to those who dare interfere with them. The main ghost, Ju-on, is a popular horror figure and her creepy ways of killing are inspiring for an experimental video. I promise I'm not homicidal.
What I plan on doing for my video is a modern Ju-on killing, with the same classic killer. It's going to be set in the art room and involve myself as the Grudge and an undecided person as the victim. I don't want to give too much away, but if you've seen any of the Ju-on movies or the game, you know that the death segments tend to be pretty ironic.
As far as making it experimental, there's going to be plenty of flashing lights (either in video or through editing, I haven't decided yet), layered sounds, and possibly some glitching as it applies to the scene. I usually am able to make out the glitch elements as I'm putting the short film together. I won't really be twisting the concept around much other than having it set in a modern time instead of a few decades ago in Japan.
